How to book the Hall

All Village Hall bookings are managed by Anne Lubbock  You can contact her by completing  the form below.

Things to consider before booking
 

  • When would you like to hold your event ? 

  • How long will you need the hall for ?

  • How many people will be attending?

  • What facilities will you require - tables, chairs, catering, indoor and/or outdoor space etc?

  • Will you be serving alcohol ?  You can't do this without permission.  If you want to sell alcohol you will need to apply to the Village Hall for a TENS (Temporary Event Notice).

  • Do you require additional insurance cover ?

You may need to carry out risk assessments for your event.

Where appropriate, you will be asked to complete and submit documentation to the Booking Manager in advance of your event.  This is for such things as equipment that you will be providing for the event.  Please discuss when making your booking.

 
Upton Village Hall hire fees 2024

Bookable sessions:

  • 8 am - 1 pm

  • 1 pm - 6 pm

  • 6 pm - 10 pm

On Fridays and Saturdays sessions may be extended to midnight (extra charges apply)

Regular bookings (6 or more) are charged at £15 per session.

One-off bookings are charged at £30 per session (£25 for registered charities).  One-off bookings after 10 pm on Friday or Saturday are charged at £ 50.  In addition, a £50 deposit may be required at the discretion of the Committee/Booking Manager,
